Easy Peel Hardboiled Eggs

This method makes hard boiled eggs so easy to peel that even a two year old can do it! 

My struggle to peel hard boiled eggs ended when I found this method from America's Test Kitchen.

Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs

You Will Need:

• Farm fresh eggs
• Sauce pot with lid
• Steamer basket
• Bowl of ice water

Method:

Fill a pot with about 1 inch water, cover, and bring to a boil.

When water boils, place eggs in steamer basket and lower into pot.  Cover and steam eggs for 13 minutes.  

When eggs are done steaming, transfer to a bowl of ice water and cool for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, drain the water and shake the eggs around to crack the shells. 

Now peel the eggs (or hand off the job to your kids)!
