A farmer favorite!

These are Japanese frying peppers that are mild with a smoky flavor--but watch out--one in 10 is hot!

We simply fry them whole in oil on our cast iron skillet until they pop and blister. Sprinkle with salt and serve as an appetizer, or as an entire lunch if you're us.
