Handmade Tallow Soap

Enjoy the creamy lather of natural homemade soap! With a base of tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, almond oil, and castor oil, and scented lightly with essential oils, this soap is both beautiful and functional. 

I take the time in winter to render tallow from local grassfed cattle. Tallow not only contributes to firmness in a bar, but it adds to the creaminess of the lather (castor oil also helps boost the bubbles in the lather). Other benefits of tallow in soap:

• Is deeply nourishing and moisturizing
• Contains Vitamins A, D, K, & E, & B12, all of which are extremely beneficial for skin
• Contains oleic acid (omega 9) aids other components in penetrating deeply into skin
• Is antibacterial & antimicrobial

Rosemary Mint - sodium hydroxide, water, olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, palm oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil rosemary & peppermint essential oils, rosemary leaves

Mother Earth - sodium hydroxide, water, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil, juniper berry, patchouli, bergamot, and cedar essential oil, mica, indigo powder

Mountain Air - sodium hydroxide, water, olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, palm oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, cedarwood, fir, cypress, and mint essential oils, alfalfa powder, mica

Rosemary Grapefruit - sodium hydroxide, water, tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, grapefruit, rosemary, and lime essential oils, rose clay, mica

Cedar & Sage - sodium hydroxide, water, olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, palm oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, cedarwood and sage essential oils, mica
