The 1 oz bunch will yield about 1/2 cup chopped herbs. The 5 oz bunch is the perfect size for a batch of pesto.

Storage: The best way to store basil is to place the stems in a glass of water like a bouquet of flowers. Cover loosely with a plastic bag and keep at room temp (not in the frig). If refrigerated, the leaves will turn black.
