Smoked Salmon Grilled Sandwich
This recipe was inspired by a delicious sandwich that I had at Look's Marketplace. I made my own version using the wild caught smoked salmon from Sunrise Salmon.
Smoked Salmon Grilled Sandwich
Yields 2-3 sandwiches
- 0.3 lb (1/3 lb) package of smoked salmon filet
- 2 T. sour cream
- 2 T. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp dijon or stone ground mustard
- 1 T. fresh minced dill or 1/4 tsp dried dill
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- Sliced bread
- Softened butter
Mix all ingredients together except for the bread and butter.
Butter the outsides of your bread slices and spread the filling inside. The amount of filling in this recipe will make 2 generously stuffed sandwiches or 3 sandwiches if the filling is spread in a moderate amount.
Grill the sandwiches in a skillet until golden brown on the outside and the cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
