Never Have Another Boring Salad with These 4 Easy Dressings!
Lemon Poppyseed Dressing
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1 T raw local honey (or more to taste)
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (not Greek yogurt because it is too thick)
- 1/2 tsp poppyseeds
- 1/8 tsp salt
Mix well. Taste and adjust to your liking. Serve!
Cilantro Lime Salad Dressing
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 T. lime juice
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 T. honey
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
Place all ingredients except cilantro in a blender and blend until well mixed.
Add the cilantro and blend until the cilantro is as finely chopped as you would like it.
Serve!
Orange Basil Dressing
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 T. raw local honey
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 5 basil leaves
Add all the ingredients except the basil leaves to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add the basil leaves and blend until the leaves are finely chopped in the dressing. Taste and adjust to your liking. Best to refrigerate for a few hours to let the flavors infuse the dressing.
Strawberry Balsamic Dressing
- 1/2 cup strawberries (can be fresh or frozen)
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 T raw local honey (optional- if your strawberries aren't sweet enough alone)
- 1/8 tsp salt
Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust to your liking (this one might taste a little odd if you eat it straight, so I would suggest trying it on a bite of lettuce). Serve!
