Crispy Baked Chicken Skins
(Pictured with Homemade Queso Dip)
After cooking a whole pastured chicken in the crockpot, I remove the meat and save the skins for this recipe. Thus, the chicken skins are completely cooked before I put them in the oven and only need to bake as long as it takes for them to become crispy.
How to Make Crispy Baked Chicken Skins
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the chicken skins on the the parchment in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and other seasonings that you like.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken skins over and return to oven for approximately 5 more minutes. When done, they will be golden brown and completely crispy.
