Baked Beet and Turnip Chips
Looking for something new to make with beets and/or turnips? This simple recipe could be it.
How to Make Beet and Turnip Chips
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Slice beets and/or turnips into 1/16-1/8 inch slices and lay on a baking sheet with parchment paper. A mandolin slicer or a food processor blade will help slice the veggies consistently thin.
- Brush the slices lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake at 400 for about 10 minutes and then flip all the slices over. Continue baking for about another 10 minutes, until they are brown around the edges and tender in the center. Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!
- Enjoy!
