Sunrise Salmon partners with Sena Sea to provide more options for wild caught Alaskan seafood.

All fish from Sena Sea are "one time frozen", meaning that they process and freeze the fish immediately after catching it to preserve the freshness and quality, unlike most other commercially processed fish which is frozen and thawed before packaging and refreezing it, a practice which exposes the fish to air and compromises the quality.

About Sablefish (Black Cod)

Sablefish caught in Alaska is known to be best- with a silky texture and rich, buttery flavor. Although it's known by fishermen as black cod, it's not a true cod, and is much more rich and decadent than cod. If you haven't tried it, you're in for a treat! High fat, rich, buttery flavor, and tender, silky texture. Very high in healthy Omega 3’s (EPA and DHA).
