The Svec family raises grassfed lamb from start to finish on pasture grasses and hay. The Katahdin hair sheep are a breed raised specifically for their mild-flavored meat. The lambs are rotationally grazed during the growing season, and are given hay and access to shelter during the winter. They are never fed grain and are completely free of GMOs, antibiotics, added growth hormones, and vaccines. The meat is processed in a USDA facility in SD and sold frozen.
