Super Simple Sauteed Peppers
Need a quick veggie side for a meal? You can use any variety of peppers or a combination of sweet and hot varieties to make this colorful and flavorful side dish.
Note: The peppers and onions shrink considerably while cooking, so make sure to cut up more than you think you will need!
Super Simple Sauteed Peppers
- 1 T. oil
- Peppers
- Onions
- 1-2 minced garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper
Cut peppers and onions into 1/4" thick slices.
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Saute the peppers and onions until they are brown around the edges and as tender as you would like.
Add the garlic and saute briefly until fragrant.
Season with salt and pepper and garnish with cilantro if desired.
