
This easy to make dip is a satisfying snack for game day. With grassfed beef and clean ingredients (no processed cheese!), this chip dip will keep your husband happy without sabotaging health!
Tip: Turn up the heat by adding some canned hatch green chilies!
Note: To keep the dip gluten free, the tablespoon of flour can be omitted. The cream cheese and salsa have a tendency to separate slightly without the flour, but it is still equally delicious.
Hamburger Cream Cheese Dip
- 1 lb grassfed ground beef
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 T. flour
- 1 cup salsa
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1-2 cups shredded jack or cheddar cheese
Brown the beef with spices and salt. When the beef is cooked, add the garlic and flour and cook briefly until the garlic is fragrant. Add salsa and cream cheese and stir until warm. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted. Serve with chips. Can be served in a crock pot on the "keep warm" setting for a few hours.
