These small eggs come from young chickens that are just starting to lay. I love using this small size to make fried eggs!
Lois VanDerVliet enjoys having chickens on her farm and gladly provides a home for her grandchildren's FFA project chickens after showing. The hens in her flock lay white and brown eggs. The chickens happily forage over their farm during the day and return to roost in the coop at night.
Happy hens= healthy eggs!
Researchers have found that compared to commercial eggs, eggs from hens that are allowed to forage contain:
• 1/3 less cholesterol
• 1/4 less saturated fat
• 2/3 more vitamin A
• 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids
• 3 times more vitamin E
• 7 times more beta carotene
After trying one of these eggs with their bright golden yolks, you will never look back!
Please return the cartons.
