Thanks to greenhouses, we can enjoy Gilkerson's tomatoes from April-October in South Dakota.
These tomatoes are a mix of 3 different colors of heirloom-like varieties that have great flavor and tenderness. If you receive tomatoes that still have streaks of green, you can certainly eat them now while they are firm or give them a few days to finish ripening at room temp.
Storage: For best flavor, tomatoes should be stored and eaten at room temperature, but if you want to keep them more than several days, they can be placed in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before serving.
Recycling: Please return the clamshell containers without washing them. Recycling packaging helps us reduce waste and keeps costs low.
