Dragon Tongue Beans

This beautiful heirloom variety of bean has flat pods and can be cooked like a green bean, although they have a wonderfully unique flavor.

My favorite way to cook them:

  1. Boil for 5 minutes in salted water.
  2. Transfer to a skillet with butter and saute until they are blistered.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
