In October 2021, Chipotle's former CEO Monty Moran, spent the week in the Brookings and Sioux Falls area learning about the farming community and filming the beautiful autumn scenery for his show Connected: A Search for Unity.
The video opens with the inspiring story of Joel Gindo from Free Happy Farm, who supplies Glory Garden with pastured pork. You will also meet Trevor Gilkerson whose greenhouse provides us with tomatoes and cucumbers and the Svec family, who raise grassfed beef for Glory Garden. You will hear Stephanie Peterson's passion for local foods and all things chickens (she runs Fruit of the Coop). Joshua and I make an appearance in the second half of the film as well. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to share with you the blessings and beauty of our way of life through this TV show. Watch The Happy Farmer (Season 2, Episode 3 of Connected: A Search for Unity on PBS).
