How to Freeze Peppers

Did you know that peppers (sweet peppers or hot peppers) are one of the easiest things you can preserve for winter?

Having frozen peppers already chopped and ready to use makes meal prep fast and simple!

How to Freeze Peppers

  1. De-seed and cut peppers into whatever size pieces you commonly use.
  2. Place in a ziplog freezer bag.
  3. Freeze!

Frozen peppers can be used in any recipe that where they will be cooked (not eaten raw because they loose their crispness). They work great for soups, casseroles, omelets, etc.

I simply throw the frozen pieces into a pan with oil and saute them along with the onions, garlic, and whatever other veggies the recipe needs.

They will keep at least 1 year in the freezer.
