Crispy Baked Chicken Skins

After cooking a whole pastured chicken in the crockpot, I remove the meat and save the skins for this recipe. Thus, the chicken skins are completely cooked before I put them in the oven and only need to bake as long as it takes for them to become crispy.

How to Make Crispy Baked Chicken Skins

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Lay the chicken skins on the the parchment in a single layer.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and other seasonings that you like.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken skins over and return to oven for approximately 5 more minutes. When done, they will be golden brown and completely crispy.
